Hi everyone, just joined a couple of days ago, and think Ive made a mistake already, I followed this tip as I was getting fed up with the videos,

Great tip from BuffaloB as to how to skip the videos on some dailies
There is a very simple way of skipping the videos you are required to view in order to enter some of the dailies. If users install Adblock Plus for firefox or chrome then when it comes to play the videos it just skips them


but now I seem to be stuck on the page with this message and nothing happens,

please heeelp does this mean I have entered or should I get rid of the skip thing

Hi Ali, and welcome!

I've found that I've had to disable Adblock on those pages where that happens, otherwise nothing happens. Try 'disable on this page only' from the Adblock button when you're on the particular page.
It seems to be a bit random when videos skip or not - some days they will, other days they don't! I find I can't skip them on Marie Claire at all!

Hi everyone,


Not long back. Managed to see DS2 and his new house on way back so that was good. The break was good and really only rained at night apart from odd shower. The heavens opened on our way home though and was difficult driving conditions. Dry now .

Had a mag daily win today for tickets to Now You See Me 2 and a magic show - I LOVED the first film so was initially excited, but my regular plus ones can't make it and really, with the new job, I'm exhausted every evening so going to have to very regretfully pass on them. Oh well!

Oh that's a shame Inkling! Hope something else good will come your way soon. I'm not sure if I want to see the second film or not! Will probable wait til dvd rather than spend a tenner on a cinema ticket, haha!

A parcel came for me this morning when I was still in my pjs, so I didn't open the door to the postman, hahaha! It's being redelivered on Friday and not expecting anything, so hope it's a win!

Did you see the first film? I absolutely loved it so am very much looking forward to it. My other half has declared we're going to see the sequel at the cinema with all the trimmings (snacks!) but it won't be straight away as he's visiting family for a week or so. Still, something to look forward to!

I have seen the first film, but only fairly recently. Thought it was quite clever, and I did enjoy it once I got my head around it! Hope you have a lovely time when you do eventually go! Can't remember the last time I had snacks at the cinema!
