Evening peeps. Have got GK's tomorrow after school. DS is picking them up after work. So got soup in slow cooker and they want sausage and mash with gravy. The soup will keep them going till he gets here and save him doing something for just himself as DIL is working till 8pm.. lol at pic alfie love it.

Hope everyone has had a good day. We had a lovely time at The Falls of Clyde. (3 waterfalls) The sun shone and we really enjoyed our walk even though a lot of it is uphill.
We had a coffee with DS2 at the services and a catch up. He is really excited about the new job and house. DS3 went off with him for a few days anyway which is nice. They get on really well.

Great you had a good day shiels. At least the weather up here was good for you today although a bit chilly this morning. Love the Falls of Clyde in the summer it is a place I used to take DS when he was small for a day out and a picnic. Glad your DS2 is pleased with new job and house and it is good when brothers get on really well.

Thanks rose. Meant to have a look at the loch too but wanted to go to Table Table for a meal so call in another day. The falls were really impressive today. Have put pics on FB from phone but haven't worked out how to put link on here yet. Might have to wait until get them from camera.
All my kids get on so well especially the 3 boys as they are so into football and music. (not to mention going for a few pints) DS1 misses seeing them. They all look out for DD too and are so proud of her, not that she can't look after herself.;)

Morning everyone. Getting fed up with this being wide awake in the middle of the night. Will probably fall asleep after dinner when GK's go home then wont sleep again tonight. Oh well on the bright side will get housework done early and have nothing to do once I get back from shops. May even treat myself when I am out. Have a lucky day everyone.

Good Morning,


We have had snow through the night - quite light but still a shock to waken up to! Glad it isn't today we are taking DS3 to Abington as usually bad there.


I used to always waken up early too I Love comps, but now I can't get to sleep at nights instead! I prefered getting to sleep and wakening up early especially as DH needs much more sleep than I do,


Hope you manage to find something nice to treat yourself with rose.

Morning I Love Comps. Glad I am not the only one to wake at silly o'clock but it is really annoying. Wouldn't mind if I could get back to sleep, but if I have had 3 or 4 hours there is no chance. Shiels I very rarely go to bed before midnight as it usually takes me a while to get off to the land of nod but it is getting ridiculous now. Went over to shop for a newspaper and some morning rolls and it is freezing out there. Forecast for here is snow later so you will be glad you had your day out yesterday shiels. Abington can be bad if there is some wind behind the snow.
