    Hello everyone!
I've had a really good morning - walked into town and back (meaning I hit 10,000 steps before lunch), and got £33 worth of stuff for the grand total of £2 thanks to sales and various vouchers! Stopped off at the city farm on the way home to see the newly born goat kids (so cute!) and saw some cheeky pigs too. Then when I got home I found a wem from Baking Mad to say I'd won the Eric Lanlard Afternoon Tea book - yay! I enter their competitions from the newsletter every month then completely forget about them!
The sun is shining and my dad is in town for work this week so he's taking me for dinner at Zizzi's later - with a discount voucher of course! - so today is just great.
Finding my avocado half rotten when I opened it for lunch has only slightly dampened my mood! Oh, and I've decided to go back to college part time from October, so maybe I'll finally find my direction in life. :rotfl:

Great amount from the boot sale Wingo, and congrats on your win Firefly! :j

Hello princessmoneysaver! We haven't met before, but congrats on your news and hope you win something again soon!

Wow AprilLady you're having a great day. Congrats on the win. Hope there are lots more to come, enjoy your evening out we love Zizzis. Great you are deciding to go back to college good on you.

Firefly they are still not here. They left in the morning stopped at service station on M3 and then continued around M25 with screaming one year old. She had not slept up till then! Lo they will be exhausted when they finally arrive.

End of my break now off to do some cooking for evening meal. Still very dull and cold here. Enjoy the sun if you have it.

Thanks leanfun - hope you have a lovely time with your family when they finally arrive!
I love Zizzi's too, and more so now they have the option of dairy free cheese on their pizzas, hurrah! It had been such a looooooong time since I'd had pizza out before they started that a couple of months ago!

sounds like they will be leanfun,
bet you're making them something lovely for dinner :A
DH here decided he fancied fish in parsley sauce with
new pots & peas for his dinner after i'd already made
the cheesy jacket spuds lol, still, they'll keep for tomorrow
    night now :D
hope it brightens up later for you,
suns out here lovely now though it feels nippy
    with the wind.

Well done on the shopping bargain April. We quite often go to Zizzi at Ocean Terminal when we are staying at the Hol Inn Express there. Always use a voucher or Tesco tokens. Expensive otherwise I think.

Hope your family arrive soon leanfun.

    :hello: Good afternoon everyone!

Lovely family just left about an hour or so ago (for
Ireland) so gorgeous pets are tucked up and cozy with
    me. :D

I had to 'pre-record' my Alphabetty post for this
morning cos I knew I just wouldn't have time to do it
    otherwise. :rotfl::rotfl:

Had a wonderful day yesterday, got spoiled rotten by
them all and had delicious Italian in the evening .... the
meal was quite scrumptious too. :rotfl::rotfl:

I had Asparagus & Mascarpone Panciotti as main (started
with Garlic Bread) - ending up with a good old trusty
dessert - Sticky Toffee Pud with hot butterscotch and vanilla
    ice cream. Scrumptious!

You sounded as if you had a lovely cozy day yesterday
Inkling with puddy cats curled up on your sofa. :grinheart

Many thanks for letting us know about sylv sheils - was
    thinking about her.

Crikes - you've got a busy month ahead! :p Hope
your DDs exam goes well this afternoon. :)

Pleased you were happy with haircut - I have mine done
every 6-7 weeks cos it grows so fast and I'm always
very tempted to [STRIKE]hack[/STRIKE] errrm cut my fringe
as it starts to annoy! :o Love it when it's trimmed and
    thinned! Always feels great!
Hello strangers, don't know if anyone remembers me? I've had a lot of personal & family issues over the last few years which meant comping took a back seat at times, had some amazing news lately which means I'm back comping as much as possible. I recognise a few familiar names anyway - hope everyone is well & winning lots x

 Hellooeee pms - I can remember you - welcome
back. So sorry to hear that you've had a tough time of late.
Many congratulations on your baby news. :j

Hi wingo! Very well done on your car boot sale booty!
Brilliant! Hope your DD finds a prom dress - don't blame
you for not wanting to take a chance on the website that
you thought was UK based and ending up being in Hong
Kong! You never know what you could be buying!

Well they did arrive at last and the little one had been asleep in the car. She hasn't screamed at us at all and GS is nearly three so he remembers being here before. He's chatting a lot more.

I made a large shepherds pie with sliced potatoes on top instead of mashed and cabbage and an apple pie and ice cream. Have to say they enjoyed it. All quiet here now.

Alfie great you were spoilt. Love it when you go out and the food is good. Nowadays you can so often be disappointed.

Sheils hope your daughter's exam went well.

Hope everyone has a good evening.
