choose gardening over housework

yesterday! :T :dance:

Mind you today I really must have a little dust around

cos all lovely family are due here later on this
evening. :T

Also got quite a few comps to catch up on too so
busy busy busy today!

Pleased you had well deserved drinkies out in the

I'll maybe do the same this evening after my day of

Good Morning,


Could get used to getting up and seeing the sun shining away!
Supposed to be our hottest day yet and hotter tomorrow I think.
Only downside is we have to water the little plants I put in. No mention of rain at all which is amazing for here.


Enjoy having your family Alfie. Maybe they will bring some wine with them

Just had phone call from son-in-law, very apologetic but would
I mind if they all came down tomorrow instead. Phew - was
getting a bit behind with the cleaning etc so I look upon it
as a 'yippee' moment! Have just gone into instant relax
mode! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

They've only just come back from Canary Islands yesterday,
thought they would be able to have quick turn around and
get to mine today, but they've started to run out of time
plus being a Bank Holiday didn't help their cause!

It's SILs birthday soon so they're all off to Ireland
for couple of days, which I had totally forgotten about
(leaving Wed, getting back Sat).

Don't know where they get their energy from! I'm looking
after the paws for them so will have a house full
of animals. :grinheart

Think they'll be bringing drinkies with them tomorrow
sheils! Pleased I've got some in so I can have a splash of
wine later.

Afternoon! We were promised blazing sun from about midday but it's only just come out in the last hour and is a bit hazy! Oh well! Hope the sun has been shining for the rest of your - sounds like there will be some very pretty gardens out there with all the gardening you lot have been doing!

Just been to the supermarket and got a lettuce for 15p. Can anyone beat that excitement for the day? :rotfl:

Very dull and cold here today.

Lo Alfie re your delayed visitors. Know exactly how you feel. DD2 might come tomorrow with two little ones but we are nowhere near ready. Rain is forecast so we'll have to see if they come. Cheers for later. Think we might join you too. I haven't watched much BGT but saw some of Saturday's final. Agree with the look back over ten years was great.

Good to hear from good Wingo hope your car boot sale went well. So good your DD has something to look forward to. So pleased her time at that school is coming to an end.

Sheils your garden sounds good and being able to sit out with a drink great.
