Buying Oil?

Is anyone buying oil currently? Bit of a random question but after hearing a lot about the current situation in my mind the only thing to do is nothing as it appears anything can happen and more than likely the price could stay as low as it is now (if not lower) for years and years to come so stay well clear.
I'm no expert at all on this however the reason I'm asking is I know a few people who say they have invested in oil as "it's a limited supply the price has to go back up at some point." What is everyone's thoughts on this? I'm aware of numerous reasons including fracking and Iran turning the taps on again which would keep the price low for some time.

"Buying Oil?"
I just bought 5 litres for my car yesterday. Price hasn't dropped at all
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
Good point I may have to be more specific, crude oil through a trading platform.0

Futures maybe?
I agree that it has to go up at some point in the future, as it is a finite resource, and China will be growing at a tidy rate again at some point.
But, should someone ever workout cold fusion, it could be bye bye baby.
I have Shell, and I bought it eons ago, so I am still in profit. So will hold for now.0 -
I'm sitting on the holdings that I already have. No current intention of adding. When there's total uncertainty any trading amounts to little more than pure speculation. The fall in oil price is going to fundamentally change the companies themselves. Like the banks, be winners and losers. Maybe some years until the future becomes clearer.0
