Note 4

Options
Evening....

I hope I'm posting it the right place.

I'm looking for some help....

I have a note 4 which I know an ex is getting into it by unlocking it. I have changed my password several times and use the finger/thumb print scanner for security.

When they get into the phone all unlocking (passwords and scanner) are disabled and I just need to swipe to unlock. Before anyone asks I am 101% sure they get into my phone by things they have said which can only be found in messages. I try and keep my phone on me at all times but sometimes leave it by accident.

Does anyone know how they could be bypassing this?

Do you think backing up my phone and resetting it will stop it?

Any help/advice will be really appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Not 100% sure but if you have a Google/Samsung account can't the pin/password etc... be changed/reset via the Google/Samsung website (i.e. designed for when people genuinely forget the password as a way to unlock it).

If you have a Google or Samsung account change the password for it, along with the password for your email account as well.

It could also be that he/she has installed some sort of spy software which uploads text messages and phone logs to the internet (e.g. http://thetruthspy.com/) - this is very difficult to detect, in which case it maybe just better to wipe the phone and setup as a new phone.

Perhaps ultimately it's time to sit down with your ex and set out some boundaries?

How would your 'EX' get hold of your phone?
Change all your passwords. Better still factory reset and start all over again with a new Samsung and Google account.

In which case possession of a Note 4 may earn them extra time together.
