Interesting, I was under the impression that you would not be able to lease a car if you had poor credit.0

I was genuinely amazingly surprised in 2012 when Moneybarn were quoted to me via car dealership, no surprises when I was told Renault finance said no.
SC does advise not to take any more credit, I wouldn't be able to get to work without a car.
The timing of unemployment 2011 was a sore one -approx 6mths away from finishing 7.5k personal loan@7.3 apr.( which I since paid in full/no missed payments)Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Hi all,
UPDATE: After doing the soft search on the MSE website for a credit card to build a c.history, it drew a blank as I have very little on my file, so I spoke to Experian for advice. They weren't a massive help but after speaking to them I decided to apply for a lease and if I was refused, I'd wait 6 months then apply for a credit builder card.
I applied to National Vehicle Leasing (not for a bad credit lease) and have been accepted no problem.
Hope this info is of use to someone else. Donna :A0
