Need help on a balance transfer

Hi guys sorry im new to the forums just a quick question really myself and my girlfriend each got a credit card mines now on. 3500 and hers is 3000 what do you recommend to get us out of this stupid mistake i wanna get a balance transfer because we are due on holiday later this year so we are saving for this so i thought the balance transfer is a good wayfor me to pause this temporarily and once we are back home we can crack on with paying it off however can we get a balance transfer for each of our cards if they are with different banks also could i use this to pay off the small loan i have atm with my bank

What cards do you already have and what is their interest rate?
With a balance transfer you are effectively taking out a new card and transferring the debt from your existing card onto it... therefore the limit of the new card needs to be able to cover as much of the existing debt as possible.
