Theatre Refunds where do I get it??

Options
Hi All,

First time threader.

Okay so my wife and I went to the Cambridge Theatre in January to see Matilda, unfortunately the show was disturbed by a disruptive member of the audience. My wife at the interval asked if we could be moved however we were told that there weren't any other available seats but two that hadn't been sat in during the first half we were told that if no one came we could sit there obviously problem being we didn't want to sit there then have to move back to our original seats. My wife asked for a refund because nothing happened to the disruptive member of the audience no warning etc and we also asked if we could come back a different night but on both accounts she was categorically told no. At the end of the show I spoke to the manager and she again refused a refund because of what happened.

I really want to pursue this further I even spoke to the company where I bought the tickets and they refused a refund.

Surely there is a body out there that can help me.

Please advise as I've looked everywhere.

Rich

In what way were they disruptive? What was wrong with the other two seats?

I can't think of any legislation that will help you, or any ombudsman/ governing body.
