thanks to NMLC . I hope your mood continues to lift . I have been unable to keep up with the thread much lately so forgive any important things I've missed . Digging deep into the never ending fibro fog .
Glad the hospital visits well TA .I hope you both have a restful weekend to recover . Re lack of contact from hospitals to your doctor .
Does your doctor have shared care with the hospitals ? Due to distance and my daughters mobility problems Broadgreen and our gp set up shared care which means our gp does regular bloods etc and adjusts her other meds ( apart from the chemo drug )
I don't know if the other hospital you go to is for the bloods in which case it is possible that your gp is not copied in .
It would be worth mentioning . We visit bg more often than the royal but after visits to both a report is sent to our doctor and also a copy to ourselves .
Now worn the brain out again . Off for a brew and back later .

Pollyanna, welcome back. I wondered where you had disappeared to! Mr TA's care is a bit complicated. He was originally referred to our local hospital when first diagnosed. When biopsies revealed the rare type of cancer, which they were unable to treat, they referred him to St James, Leeds. He has been under their care for going on three years now. Last autumn they thought he might benefit from PRRT and referred him to Manchester. Then it was announced funding for it was going to stop. Liverpool was the nearest place he could start it before the money was cut and no new NHS patients could be accepted for it anywhere after that. So he got in by the skin of his teeth really and we feel so very lucky because it does show some very good results in a lot of cases. So officially he is still under the care of Leeds and just goes to Liverpool for the PRRT 3 monthly. So our GP only gets letters from Leeds!
Thanks for the info and perhaps we should really look into the lack of communication from them.
DUMPLING 800 cals sounds a starvation diet to me. Can you cope with eating so little? I'd be more than grumpy!
GERS sorry to hear you and your mum have lost a good friend.
JUDI a big ((HUG)) for the patient. Aw bless she looks so sorry for herself on the photo.
We've had all sorts of weather thrown at us today, including blizzards which really looked as though they meant business! Thankfully they were making idle threats!
A big welcome to NINJASMUMMY. Always nice to see a new face!

Afternoon all
Welcome Ninjasmummy, glad you feel better Dumpling, good news LW, what a relief Judi
Still not had a nap, there was a change of plan I took hubby a packed lunch up at 10:30, did my shopping and DD1 came to me with 4 of her children, age 10, 9, and 18 month twins, I still had DGD8 plus SIL asked if I'd have DGD 15mth.
So I had a house full with 6 children here, we did some sewing together, I did a picnic lunch.
I managed to get 3 loads of washing done and cleaned the cooker Hubby didn't finish until 1:30 instead of 12, DD 1 left at 2:30 and SIL collected the other 2 at 3:30.
I did burgers in buns for tea, I'll cook the Beef Wellington tomorrow.
I'm now sat on the sofa with my crochet, ignoring the mess around me, though it isn't too bad.
Have a good evening everyone.
Hugs HesterChin up, Titus out.0 -
Gers sorry to hear about your friend. It's always awful when we lose a "sparkle" from our lives.
Judi "Ginge" looks a lovely little dog; I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the biopsy results show nothing nasty for her.
My lastes guest has arrived; she's a JR X American Cocker Spaniel; she has the black'n'white Spaniel colouring and is basically JR-shaped.:D Goes by the name Millie.
I'm glad she's here just now; Mr LW would have wanted to go out for a meal for Valentines Day; I don't really enjoy eating out all that much, and of course it's silly prices on 14th Feb, so having a wee doggie here means I have an excuse to say we need to stay home.We have a bottle of @ldi's finest champers in the fridge, though.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Evening all,
well i made today! Managed to get my shopping done, Grandson has just gone to bed with his bottle and i think i can relax now until morning.
Ginge is fine. I am hoping we can get her to bed upstairs tonight. Back to the usual night time routine. The settee was comfy but not as comfy as the bed.
Hubby has had a tow bar fitted to the car today which usually means he will sell it soon. I am hoping that this will not be the case this time. He does seem to have taken to this car (despite the teething problems it had when he first bought it).
Face washed and teeth cleaned so when i find myself dropping i can just go to bed.
