Diabetes info/ help.

Anyone experience with diabetes here, need bit help, I've just checked my fathers sugar levels which are 25.9 ive phoned the NHS ,waiting for the DR to call back... anyone had any experience with this high level, what should I look out for ?

    I take it you are diabetic if you are able to test your father's blood.
    My husband's levels were that high when he first got diagnosed. Change of diet needed urgently and medication.

    There's a lot of information out there - try DiabetesUK - but your Dad's first stop should be his GP.

    A look at his basic lifestyle would also be a good idea. What does he eat/drink etc.

    its been high for a while but last nigh it was way to high,, Dr came from hospital at 3am to check him. ( was nice of him ) .
