ESA50 Reassessment Form

Very quick question.

I received a reassessment ESA50 in the post last week. Is it ok to print the ESA50 from the gov website and send that?

On the letter it says fill in the form, on the form it says you can fill in the form or print, so I'm just clarifying its ok. I'm sure it is, but just double checking.

I have a tumour that effects my handwriting so typing is more preferable.

Thank you.

  • Maybe ask someone to fill it in for you, attach a letter saying it was filled in on your behalf?

You can fill it in on your computer, print and post, yes.

    Thank you!!
  • Hi If it's not too late I would suggest making two copies of the form and keeping one yourself . It makes things a lot easier next time .
    Good luck

You can complete it over the phone.
When i phoned he said it was going to take about 20/30 mins.
Get all your answers ready with the form you have then phone them in.

A fully completed ESA50 is going to take longer than half an hour. Are you thinking of a different form?

It may be possible to do but I wouldn't advise doing it that way. It's far too easy for somebody to mis-hear what has been said over the phone, or to try to paraphrase what is being said to them. Much, much better and safer to send a completed and signed version.

Seconded! And include medical evidence, if possible!
