TUPE and title change

Hello all,
It looks very likely that I am going to be on a TUPE list. I am trying to change my job title and nature of the role (to a difference area of compliance) and my current company has been very accommodating of this, as long as I agree to the TUPE.
Can I change my role/job spec contractually before the TUPE? (Pay remains the same and one role is not 'more senior' than the other.)

The TUPE is based on the roles in scope - that is the current roles. If the new employer has not agreed to this change, then it won't recognise the change. You would need the agreement of both employers.0
