Experian - Serious Problem

I moved home in November and registered with my local Council to be entered onto their Electoral Roll.
I received a letter from them stating that I'd be on the Electoral Roll under my new address from the 1st January 2016.
At the beginning of February an entry appeared on my Equifax credit file showing me registered on the Electoral Roll under my current address.
However my Experian Credit File still showed me as having one negative factor on my credit file - and that was - You are not on the Electoral Roll as a current occupant at your current address.
I emailed Experian/Credit Expert and received a reply around a week later stating that, 'our records show that you are registered on the Electoral Roll at your current address'
So I waited a couple of days, but could see that there was still a negative entry on my Experian Credit File stating, 'You are not on the Electoral Roll as a current occupant at your current address.'
So once again I contacted Experian/Credit Expert asking what was going on.
I received a reply yesterday stating that, ''our records show that you are registered on the Electoral Roll at your current address'
I've just checked my Experian Credit File a few minutes ago, but it still states that I have one negative factor on my credit file and that is : 'You are not on the Electoral Roll as a current occupant at your current address.'
Can anyone on here please explain what's going on, because Credit Expert/Experian don't seem to be able to. What credit file ar they looking at that's so different from the one I have access to?
Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

Hi
I’m not sure what’s happened here but you shouldn’t have more than one credit file with Experian.
You could email them a screen grab of the incorrect information as proof and ask them to explain it.

I've emailed them the 'screen grab' stating I have a negative entry on my credit file, and the negative entry is that I'm not registered on the electoral roll at my current address.
Can't believe this is happening!0 -
What does Noddle and Equifax (or clearscore) say about the issue ?0

I don't know what's going on, hope you get it sorted. There is an Experian rep on here so maybe they will pick up on your post.0 -
Woke up this morning and checked my Experian Credit file, and it still states that I have one 'negative factor'
'I'm not registered on the electoral roll at my current address.'
However, I've also received an email from Credit Expert/Experian in response to my email to them last night (which contained the 'screen grabs' from my Credit File):

Thank you for your contact received on 12 February 2016
Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Looks like someone at Credit Expert/Experian hasn't been entirely truthful with me!!!
I wonder if the Experian Rep who posts on here could advise!0 -
Once sorted, cancel your experian account if you're paying for it, it's a waste of money and does nothing
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

No news yet from Credit Expert/Experian, I'm still waiting to hear from their .'Electoral Roll Department' (do they actually have a Department called that?)
Meanwhile my Credit File still shows me as having one negative factor on my credit file - and that is - 'You are not on the Electoral Roll as a current occupant at your current address.'
So much for Experian keeping accurate records - scary!0
