esa assessment

Hi

I'm looking to see if anyone could offer some advice. My partner was awarded ESA support group without medical and now we have the form in for the capability assessment as its up for renewal in April. I have tried my best to fill in the forms regarding his daily struggles with having global learning difficulties and depression. Nothing has changed from his first award in 2 years ago as the learning abilities will never change, what is the likely hood of his just being awarded again without face to face meeting? If there is one required how long do they take to do it and will he still be awarded esa until the meeting Has happened if it takes longer than April? Sorry for all the questions as this is all new to us and with 2 children it's a bit worrying if they just stop the money.

Thanks
