I can't do coconut - smell of it makes me heave.
You're right though colazombie - it does look awful. I've worked so hard to get where I need to be in my job and I'm going to be shaking hands with people regularly. I need to kick this habit up the !!! so I can have hands I'm proud of.Back in the red :mad:

Have you tried the colouring books and pencils, a friend bought me one for Christmas and I find I really concentrate on doing it and that pushes anxious or annoying thoughts right out of my head for a while. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0

Oh my poor hands.
I've got a report deadline looming and I've chewed them to bits. My anxiety is beginning to play up again - I'm getting a bit overwhelmed to be honest and my post is coming to an end (funding cuts). Maybe there's a part of me that thinks that if I don't finish my report I can keep my job... Silly woman.
I do colour at home. I've got the Harry Potter book which is nice to colour through. Its at work I find the issue. I can leave my hands alone (most of the time) at home.
I've got an important interview on Thursday that I need to be looking my best for. Smartly dressed, manky hands. hmmm.... I'm so annoyed at myself.Back in the red :mad:

I'm sorry if this seems like a really stupid suggestion, but could you try with really difficult to get off gloves for the few days before your interview?
Maybe put a band around them so that you cannot just absentmindedly slip them off?0 -
I bite my nails and the surrounding skin, I doubt your fingers look any worse than mine!!
I've found that heavily moisturising the night before a meeting/interview helps somewhat.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

And I am plastering the bathroom and the lime in the plaster is making mine look awful.0

Okay.
Facial scrub on your hands every evening/other evening followed by a rich moisturiser, preferably with cotton gloves on.
Loose elastic band around your wrist, ping it when you want to nibble or catch yourself doing it
Good luck!
