Pretty well known supplier. I was with them for a year and had no trouble at all. Only left them for a better deal with somebody else.

I'm with them at the moment. They're fantastic but they aren't coming up very cheap in comparisons at the moment sadly.0

I wouldn't go so far as to say 'fantastic'. Their IT system has its flaws - particularly for returning customers - and smart metering also appears to be something of an Achilles Heel.I'm with them at the moment. I walk past their offices every day on the way to work - they have a tree-house in the atrium.
However, there are always a gaggle of staff smoking by the back door - what is it with energy firms?! It was the same at BG's offices in Cardiff.0 -

Hi, I've heard of OVO and spent a very unhappy year with them. People have referred to their IT systems and their Smart Meters as having problems. I would agree as these were the issues we struggled with. I also had a huge problem with my Gas smart meter (although it didn't work) when I switched away from OVO as it was incompatible with the new supplier. Eventually, we had the meter replaced again, but a year down the line, the consequences are still a real problem.0

I have been very happy with OVO and did accept the Smart meter.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
