A Word of Warning Chelsea Building Society

IMHO someone has reopened this thread started well over one year ago purely and simply because it has a dramatic headline!
The thread has nothing whatsoever to do with the current issues and has been started as a first post by someone who joined up today, you have to ask yourself why would do this except to make trouble!
IMHO this a deliberate mischief-making post.0 -
it is your own personal choice not to read the "footnotes". Personally, if I am interested in opening an account, I make a point of reading them. Chelsea dont just put their rates down for any reason, they all have guarantees linked to the product with a maturity date. Eg, The 90 day notice account has a guarantee of being .50% above BofE base rate till 10th feb 2010. The only time the rate drops apart from when the guarantee goes is when the BofE base rate drops. And if you dont like rates changing, get a fixed rate and get over it.
Troublemaker, why is there not a button which says "no thanks your a "w@nker"0 -
This is an old thread, more than 1 yr old. Much time is wasted resurrecting old threads, they should be frozen after a certain amount of time.
I did not look at when the thread was started I just replied to the previous post which was posted today and thought hello another go at the Chelsea !!! as there had been a previous thread regarding the Chelsea on here today
Although it was last year you still get the same old complaints0
