Installing feeds for a washing machine

Hi all,
We've had a quote of £450 for a plumber to do the following:
Install hot and cold water feeds for a sink
Install cold feed for a washing machine
Install waste for both
Install tumble dryer vent (to external wall)
Replace a toilet
There are existing hot/cold feed and a waste pipe within about 2m of the new location - does this price seem about right? We are providing the toilet and tumble drier vent.
Any thoughts appreciated, thanks
Sue.

Hiya,
I'm in Reading, and he said a day.
Thanks,

£200 a day labor for a skilled plumber, £100 for an assistant / apprentice / laborer. materials / copper tube / valves / traps and all consumables about £60 max, say a £10 to collect and deliver, so I would say if 1 man job (and it sounds like it) a bit expensive. I'd take that like a flash for £250 if you were local.Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0

Gut feeling was that it seemed a little steep, that breakdown is really useful-thank you!0

I personally would be OK with the £450.
You may get it a bit cheaper if a plumber is looking for work.
At £450 is it worth the hassle?0 -
At that price, your "plumber" is on £400 a day0

People tend to ignore he has to quote for the work.A visit I assume.
He is then on the obligation to source materials. We don't know how far away he lives. How many quotes does he not win?Who pays for these?
He is entitled to a bit of cake,he has to do his accounts and probably pay an accountant.
He has to get regular work EVERY day or that £400 is slashed.
People must open their eyes.
Then the problem is getting paid and associated worry.
It really isn't time to quibble over a few £.0
