Is the £1225 a fee loan?

What else you are entitled to depends on your (or your parents) income. It is all explained here:

Up to you - you'll need to sit down and compare ISAs with the interest you'll pay on the loan...

    from there website

The interest rate for Income Contingent Loans applies from 1 September to 31 August each year. It is linked to the rate of inflation in line with the Retail Prices Index: this means that the amount you pay back will have broadly the same value as the amount you have borrowed and no profit is made on the loan itself. All student loans accrue interest from the date they have been paid, and interest accrues on your loan until it has been repaid in full. The interest rate is currently 4.8%.

    and my isa is 5.66

is there any point me taking the extra money just to put in my isa?

Which course are you actually doing millwalll?

You were not sure a while back whether it would be a degree course or not?

Also, what do you plan to live off?
