Probate Scotland

My mother died 11 days ago. She had a will leaving everything to me and my brother. My brother is like a steam train wanting to get everything done today. I am still grieving and really can't deal with anything right now. My brother wants to get the probate done and the house on the market asap do things really need to be done so fast am I being selfish.

Comments

  • Who is the executor? You are not be selfish but your brother is. Just ask him to give you some space. Having said that some people find doing all the paperwork takes their mind of the grieving and helps but others don't..
  • No you are not being selfish, but don't be too hard on your brother as has already been said some peoples way of coping is to get stuck in to sorting everything out, and I'm afraid I am a bit more that way myself.
