    Correct :)
Womens are narrower and in some brands womens shoes will offer half sizes where mens do not.
  • So I went back to the store and took both the new and old pair. Explained that I had made a mistake, and I wasnt expecting a refund or doubting their skills but I just wasnt comfortable with the pair that I had purchased.

The Salesman (1 think he might be the owner) had me try on both pairs I had with me plus the size 5 in my new pair (1 size down from that purchased, but still a size up from my normal shoes)

In a nutshell, he could see that the one shoe fitted a bit wide, but he was happy that he had fitted me "correctly". From a fitting point of view, I shouldnt be getting numb feet, but if I preferred that feeling to the feeling I was experiencing with the "correctly" fitted trainer, then that was more important.

Despite the fact that I have run several times in those purchased, he insisted we just do a straight swap!!! I am absolutely over the moon! I had secretly hoped for a little discount on a new pair, but wouldnt have dreamed of insisting, so an exchange is totally above and beyond as far as I am concerned.

Now just to wait for it to stop raining so I can get out there!!!!
