Cost to lay a concrete floor

    According to one site the concrete truck will wait up to 30mins.

    And the 1.5m3 of concrete I need will take 30 wheelbarrows to move.

    So even factoring in a couple of labourers for half a day, that would be about an extra £100 in labour?

    You 'd still be looking at least £50 for each labourer. So possibly another £100-£200.

    This means the £1K labour rate would be a goer. Even if he's charging more as he pays more you'd still not be looking at over £1200 in my opinion.

    £1500-£2000 should be a more realistic figure for the works...unless it is unduly complicated, which it doesn't sound like.
