My teenage son has been able to call premium rate *** lines from
my home phone although I have had these such numbers blocked with
BT since 2004 . BT Billing said there was a fault on line so should be sorted
and rembersed Bt customer services said they would only give back the
last 3 calls £17ish even though admitting it should not happen . Son said he
had used these numbers since february this year am I entitled to all the
charges back or not. Have asked son to watch sky freeview or used mags
or buy DVDs (ps does anyone know where to get other than virgin mega stores
*** DVD suitable for a 17years old ?!!!!)

Tell him to get a job and pay you back; he obviously has too much time on his hands. Unplug the phone when you're not around and take it out with you.0

As you have a BT bar on 09 calls, you should sue BT for the rest of the money through the Small Claims Court.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

at a guess he knew you had barred him from the prem rate numbers, which indicates a) he had done it before and b) he was very keen to do it again - and not bothered who got the bill
chop his fingers off, he wont be able to dial again....(joke)Now we all know how it felt to play in the band on the Titanic...0 -
does BT charge for the 09 blocking 'service'. did that charge appear on the bills where the 09 numbers appeared?0

On my phones you can block from dialling the numbers on the phone. Try looking in your phone manual. You have my sympathy as DD addicted to hours long chats with mates on their mobiles. She works part time and WILL be paying the £150 back!!!!!!0

International and premium rate barring services are free with BT. The calls would appear under the premium rate section of her bill.
My mum would have given me a right hiding for this sorta thing, that's for sure.0
