galaxy note 3 and kodi

i can load kodi onto phone and install ares wizard but can't run any of the builds like spinz or editz. they both work ok on my lg tablet and raspberry pi

anyone got any ideas why i can't run kodi build on samsung galaxy note 3?

i get the spinz initial splash screen but then it just reverts back to the basic kodi confluence screen

    3gb ram (currenly 1.2gb free)
    15.6 gb free storage

    K works with repos on Note 3 but I have never
    attempted to put a build on as size is unknown .
