Kenco Rewards Points

Is anyone else annoyed with Kenco Reward points?
You get a code to collect points on each jar or refill pouch you buy. In the past, they had a brilliant selection of gifts including small kitchen appliances, household items, entertainment/leisure items etc. I had a few nice things and was a very happy customer
The scheme was revamped last year and all the gifts were removed and replaced with mugs, coasters and reusable bags branded with Kenco that seemed overpriced in points value compared to the previous gifts. Many people complained on the Kenco Facebook page and for months, Kenco has promised the rewards are being reviewed and new rewards will be available soon. I've continued to buy the coffee and collect the points in anticipation of these new gifts.
Kenco have now decided to pull the plug on the whole scheme and it will finish in a couple of months. I've got the choice of using my points on the naff mugs and bags or donating them to Kenco's charity.
I'm annoyed as I feel like Kenco have mislead me by promising new rewards for months and then not delivering them.
I've complained to Kenco but just got a load of waffle about how ethical they are by supporting coffee farmers. All well and good but it's not very ethical misleading your own customers for months and then not delivering on your promises. Unhappy customer now

Here I go again on my own....

I used to collect them to get free Millicano coffee once they stopped that there was no reason to buy it anymore .This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Isn't the reason you buy something because you like it? If you still prefer Kenco to other coffee then continue to buy it and enjoy it. If you were only buying it because of the points, then find something you prefer.0
