Hi had my new credit meters on tues anybody know how long it takes before they are registered on the network so if I did switch they would know I am on standard meters and not pre payment please

Try registering for online reads with your supplier. The meter serial numbers usually show under the "submit a reading " heading.0

Meter exchanges can take up to 28 days to update on the national databases and internal supplier systems.
If suggest you don't switch until the exchange updates, as then you'll end up with a new supplier with incorrect meter details0 -
My meters changed Feb 3rd - all online today.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

I was thinking maybe 4-6 weeks not in a rush to switch but just wondered on time scale0
