All rounder rejection

in Credit cards
Hi there,]
I recently applied for Halifax all rounder card so I can pay off my debt at 0% but still spend on it in emergencies.
I am currently in debt of 3k on a Barclaycard.
I got rejected for the all rounder. Mr credit score is high so it must be something else.
Is it worth me applying for a BT only card instead or is this too risky?
I desperately need to get this interest down

Mr credit score is neither here nor there. No one ever sees him.
What do your credit files say? How solid is your credit history - or do you have missed payments etc? What are yout total balances, limits and income.
You need to be applying for something appropriate to your circumstances.0
