powergen sends in debt collector

Just recieved a letter from a debt collection agency demanding money apparently owed to POWERGEN:eek: This is amazing as I do not have an account with them:confused:. However, POWERGEN did hijack me from British Gas a while ago, without my permission :mad:, this was eventually sorted out and I was returned to British gas . So now after about 18months, they think I owe them money, yet they sent no bills to me in all that time.

I have written and telephoned POWERGEN and they agree this letter from the debt collector should not have been sent.

This is disgraceful, some people might have been frightened into paying this money when it wasn't even owed. :mad:
