Hi all

Have read through some threads and noticed some posts about being offered a lot less on a mortgage than you initially assess or have an AIP for.
I know the calculators and AIP are all 'up to' but whats the average, say you assess to borrow 100k? Assuming you have a good credit history, no defaults and no other lending currently, and no other suprises what would be the likely amount? And being determined to save I've been living like a caveman so very little expenditures on my statements.
Besides the above, what else can affect it?
From experience, what have others been offered in comparison to the AIP?

Unless my circumstances change I expect to be able to get a mortgage at the AIP amount. The AIP process was pretty though and I was honest. They ask how much I wanted then did the sums off that and did a credit check. I cant see why I would not get that amount if my circumstances don't change - unless of course the mortgage company runs out of money to loan?YNWA
