Hi
Ive never claimed PPi before & im unsure weather or not I can claim without having any details of my old accounts, I use to have an Argos & New Look Store card, I no long er have them and they where about 7-8 years ago when I paid them off, does anyone know if I can claim PPI on them and if I can, can I make a claim if I no longer have any details of my old accounts?
I also have a Vanquis Credit card, can I claim PPI on that
Thanks in advance
Stuart

Do you mean claim (as in you want to use the insurance) or complain?
If the latter, yes you can do, no guarantee you will win though. What are your complaint reasons, what proof do you have?
Ring up the companies and ask if you had PPI - with Vanquis it would be easy as you can just look on your card, if it has a balance (not paid off in full every month) and you have PPI it will be listed as a separate charge on your statement - if you have a balance but no PPI charge then you don't have PPI so don't complain.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
