Is it possible to set up a direct debit from halifax reward current account to my nationwide current account? to satisfy the 2 direct debit rule for the £5 reward.
If so can it be done online or do I need to go in branch.
Thank you.

i had a halifax reward current account up to may 1st 2013 when the rules changed and i was not direct debiting 2 payments from it.I then stopped getting the £5 which i knew would happen. If I now start paying 2 x DD`s and deposit £750 a month will my account revert back to the reward account and i recieve the £5?
When i log on it still states i have reward current account although i do not get the £5.
Thank you.0 -

No you cannot set up any DD to put or pull money into any current account.
You can use https://gocardless.com/ to set up any number of DDs you like.0 -

I would expect so. Currently you are not meeting the requirements for the reward. If you do meet the requirements (ie the 2 DDs and the minimum pay in) they you will get the reward credited.
At one point I stopped meeting the requirements (I think one of my DDs stopped and a new one was not active because of a change of supplier) so I got no reward for a month or two but the next month £5 was credited.0 -
