You need to open a new bank account or use one where there is no association to any other debt and use that as your new account.
Be careful here that some credit cards are discreetly connected to different banking organisations.
My current account is with the Halifax who I have no debt with other than my overdraft which is within its limits. As regards to the letter from Natwest should I be worried about a ccj the debt with them is for £2500. Im going to speak with stepchange when my partner gets home0 -
