Hotel quote undercharged me - Do they have to commit to this £

I have received booking confirmation from a hotel for a summer holiday in the UK. I can clearly see they have seriously undercharged me. However, the booking has been confirmed, with a confirmed total. Does the hotel have to honour this lower rate now I have booking confirmation?

No they don't if (as it seems) you were aware of their mistake when you accepted the contract.

Give them a call, confirm the correct price and see if you can negotiate on the price.

Better to sort it out now whilst you have the moral high ground and can bargain for an upgrade, rather than wait until you arrive and find they've no room for you, or that they cancel the day before you travel, or similar!

The chances of an upgrade are pretty decent, maybe a better view, or a coffee maker or larger room, that kind of thing :)
