Scottish Power End of March Fixed Tariff Info

After doing all my usual comparisons, the Collective offer with BG is the cheapest, but I have been also wary BG has not had the best reviews. I have just phone Scottish Power to ask them will they be bringing anything else out as their latest Cancer tariff fixed for 2 years is still not as cheap as the collective. She told me that a new tariff will be coming out on the 15th. This is the same day as the final day we have to sign up to switch to the collective if we are going to do so. I told her this and she said if I phone in on the 15th they will be able to give me the new prices per units/SC etc. It is pushing it fine but I am going to hang on until then just in case they can match or come very close to the collective.

I thought this may be useful to others on the same current tariff. If you are considering this, do not wait to get an email or something through the post; the lady said this would not happen with my tariff ending at the end of March and having already been offered the new Cancer tariff. I did read that sometimes they offer something in the last 2 weeks but I am certainly not leaving it that late.
