    Well, it looks like the Christmas carp has arrived from China.

    Catalogue through the door with the usual gimmicky ornaments, novelty clocks, packs of silly socks, cheap perfume sets, photo frames, hampers with food you'll never eat and which will sit in the cupboard until the use-by date expires, toys toys toys toys, tins labelled 'Bloke Stuff', MU duvet sets, yucky gewgaws with 'Mum' or 'Daughter' on them, bar accessories that will get used once, candles, candles, candles, gaudy jewellery and boxes of makeup with a thousand colours of eye shadow, all of which things a large percentage will end up in Charity shops in the New Year.

    I usually escape abroad to a country that doesn't have such an overly-commercial attitude to it, which, basically, is pretty much anywhere except the main English-speaking nations! :D

    This year I haven't planned anything, so I might have to hide under the duvet! :rotfl:

    Damn, I was hoping it was all stuck on the ship whose owner's gone bankrupt - so it can't dock, let alone unload, because the ports won't accept it without a guarantee of getting paid.
