When a text in typed out in Word properly and is cut and pasted in forums like MSE, is comes out together without any line spaces?
Text in Word is OK and in MSE forum it’s together? It even happens when the text is cut/copied from Word to Gmail.
Thanks

grumbler thanks, you are a star!0

I managed to sort out double spacing in Line and Paragraph Spacing and selected 1.0. In Line Spacing Options - Indentation and Spacing are all 0 (Zero).
Indentation special is None and Line Spacing is Single.
Problem – Just written a note with many sentences, I have discovered there are different spaces between words in the sentences.
Please let me know how I can fix this in steps please.

Have you got it on centred text where all the lines start and finish in the same place? You need to change it to left hand alignment on the paragraph tab.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Sounds like you set fully justified (aligned) paragraphs where the text lines up on both left and right sides.0

elsien and bod1467 thanks but the problem is still there. I had it on Align Text Left before and set the settings (#5).
I had Office XP it was fine and have upgraded to Office 2010 last week, so I am still learning.
Are there any other settings I need to look at?0 -
Just wondering - is it because I opened up Word doc from XP into Word 2010?
All the old Word docs were saved as Word 97 to 2003. The latest Word docs are saved as Word.
The notes I had written (old doc) were cut and pasted on to Word 2010, I think it looks bit better!
Thanks for help.0 -
