IVA mortgage

Hi everyone

my partner and I entered in to our IVA June 2010 and satisfied January 2013

we are currently looking at moving home

as we completed over 3 years ago a broker has found us the following deal

20% deposit
borrowing £140000
interest 4.34% (fixed for 2 years)

if we waited until June 2016 it will be 6 years since we entered our IVA

Would we get a better deal at this time?
we are undecided whether to go for this or wait

any help would be greatly appreciated

My first mortgage after IVA was 3.99% on similar numbers.

If you can afford it then do it now, as 5.5 years or 6 years since the start of the IVA wont make any difference as you have to declare your past anyway.

I had to go via a broker but the lender was Halifax, I tried to go direct to Halifax before using a broker but got a computer says no.

This was about 4-5 years ago.

I was tempted to try for mortgage on our own, but thinking it might be bit too risky
