Home Insurance Claim

Hi guys,

I hope someone can shed some light on this for me.

I currently have 2 homes with separate B&C cover etc. Just yesterday I lost some property, which is covered within my policies but does this mean i have to file a claim with the two insurance companies (no sure if this is even possible) or do i just pick one of them for the claim. The excess is the same for both so im not sure what would be the deciding in picking one.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
Regards
CJ

Only make one claim! (Making 2 could be seen as a criminal act!!)

If he items are covered by both policies then claim off the one with the lowest excess.

You should check your policies wordings to see when you should inform the other company of the loss you have had
