The Prize Directory- scam??

I got one yesterday and in the small print it said something like they will stop passing on and using your details if you write to 'opt out' at the address given. I sent the form back with nothing on it excpet 'opt out' in big red letters on both sides. I really hope that doesn't actually make things worse and verify the address to give me more spam!

Has any one else risked sending an opt-out response?

Just an update since my Feb post - I heard nothing more from them and haven't had any junk mail from other companies so far so hopefully sending the opt-out had worked.

Received the letter twice did some search found this Forum and the following article.
in the Gaurdian.
