Alloy wheel refurb before part-ex
I'm looking at buying a new car in a couple of months and I'll hopefully be part exchanging my old one. It's nearly 5 years old and has minor scuffs on 2 of the alloy wheels and major scuffs on 1 of the others. Is it worth getting them fixed before I go looking at new cars or would the dealer not be bothered? I'm looking at a different brand to the car I've got now.

Dealer wouldnt really care it would make no difference to them for the pricing0

How much will it cost to refurbish them?
How much difference will it make to the cost to change?
These are the only two things you need to think about. If the second is more than the first, by enough to outweigh the hassle, do it.
Try not to drive your new car into kerbs.0 -
It's a Skida Fabia estate and I'm looking to part ex it for a Hyundai i30.0

I don't think it will make a huge difference, the dealer will get a cheap blow over done by a man in a van for £30/40 a wheel.
A proper job would cost £50/60 depending on wheel size or finish.
Lepsons in Kent have a decent reputation as do Wicked Wheels.0
