I spoke to stepchange again today - it seems I call them nearly every day these days. They have now got my forms and said they would be writing to my credit card companies now. I'm pleased to be dealing with this now and getting it started. Should have done it sooner. Feeling happier though. Thanks all

Today I made my last DMP payment. The plan was reduced (thank you) to one year. God it feels good.

    Stick at it everyone.

Nothing you say makes any sense and you are not helping anyone. You have not paid off 12k in one year paying £33 a month.

The OP reminds me of one of those online chat bots; they seem to not understand what people are saying and completely ignore their questions. They just keep replying to the thread with random thoughts that don't make much sense as a whole.

Any chance he meant DRO not DMP?

I doubt it. In post #6 someone suggested a DRO, and the OP responded directly to that one, saying they'd rather pay it off.

Yes actually I'd help anyone who asked. Maybe people need to read things properly before striking out.

Right, if you'll help anyone - help me now. Explain to me how you've paid off half of a £12K DMP by paying £33 a month for a year?

What have you ACTUALLY being paying per month?

£33 per month? That would be impossible. Anyone can see that.
