Golf weekend deals - where to look ?

Hi,

I've been asked to source a golf weekend in the UK for my dads 70th. Any ideas where to look to secure a good deal ?....probably got about £250 to spend.

Where are you wanting to go?? Q club hotels have locations around the country, have golf courses and do golf packages, but they are not cheap. Marriott hotels have golf clubs at some of their hotels - more likely to be the country club locations such as Forest of Arden or Dalmahoy near Edinburgh.

Another recommendation for Qhotels. As for price, they always have offers on and will negotiate.

Sign up to their email alerts, call the hotel, speak to the resort manager and cut a deal.

I don't play golf, but have stayed at Dunston Hall near Norwich when it was a De Vere and rated it one of their best.

Have a look at The Links Hotel West Runton near Cromer I can highly recommend. You get free golf whilst staying there.
