I just go to a pressure car wash and clean under the wheel arches really well and also use the lance to wash the underside a bit. I always wash it before the MOT anyway and feel it shows you've made an effort.Norn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0

I put my car through the MOT without washing it and there were no issues, I do make a point of power-washing the wheel arches and underneath when I am washing my car so I shall continue this trend.
