Debt still showing as defaulting every month after bankruptcy discharge

Hi

I was declared bankrupt in 2010 and discharged a year later in 2011.
One of the debts included in the bankruptcy was a Joint Unsecured Personal Loan with my ex-partner whom I have no contact with.
Unlike all the other debts which show as satisfied or partially satisfied with a date of no later than my bankruptcy discharge date date, this particular debt is still showing with the status as 'default' and showing as a default month after month on my credit report with the default amount.
I have tried writing to Natwest on a number of occasions now and they don't even respond to my letters.
Address I have been writing too: Data Controller, Natwest, 135 Bishopsgate, London, EC2M 3UR

I sent the last one recorded delivery in December and there is a signature on the Royal Mail website confirming the letter was received.

Any advice would be helpful.

Thank-you in advance

    Hi zina24

Have you raised this matter with the Information Commissioner's office? It sounds as if the lender has had adequate opportunity to respond by now - if they've not done so, you should be able to escalate it.
