How can I make sure that wishes in a 'will' are being adhered to. I am an Executor along with someone else, they haven't been left anything apart from staying in property but on certain conditions. How can I make sure these conditions are being adhered to?
I have tried to sort it out on my own, they are ignoring me, and I cannot afford a solicitor.
Any help appreciated. Thankyou

The sad truth is that unless you can afford a solicitor, you can't.0

What does the will say?
Who are the beneficiaries?
Is the other person a beneficiary as well as executor?
Have they been left a life interest? What does the will specify about the terms of the life interestIf you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
The beneficiaries are my sisters and myself. The will states that he can live in the property on certain conditions, ie upkeep, insured, not cohabiting etc, but how can I make sure he is adhereing to the conditions. He is being very awkward! He was my mums boyfriend, he knew what the will stated, but now he thinks he 'owns' the property!0

IS BF one of the executors or just a beneficiary?
Have you got probate?If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Seems some of the conditions are rather onerous and the law takes a dim view of wills where the testator attempts to control the lives of beneficiaries from beyond the grave0

Upkeep and insurance are essential conditions that are enforceable. The op should ask a solicitor who offers an initial consultation FOC.0
