Looking for some help if possible please.
I had a claim rejected from the Clydesdale Bank about 3 years ago but they are supposed to be rewiewing all claims again.
I've still not heard anything from them.
Do I need to re submit a claim to them?
Thanks

No.
it will take them a good number of years to get through all the cases.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
No need to re-submit a claim.
I did send a letter to ask if they would be re-investigating and they replied to say all claims before August 2014 would be looked at and this coul take up to 18 months.Sent a letter about a month ago as a general enquiry as to the current status of my file but not heard back yet.Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?0 -

Just so you don't slip through the net (mine did, until I contacted the bank) I would phone and ask them to check that your complaint has been included in the review.0 -
My husband had a claim knocked by Clydesdale bank in 2013 sometime and was sent to ombudsman and they ruled in the Clydesdale banks favour. We did see in the press that they were fined and were looking at some claims before August 2014. We got a letter out of the blue from Clydesdale Bank saying they are relooking at my husbands claim. We got letter dated 3/12/15 that they were looking at this and would have a outcome by 29/1/16, however we received a letter on 26/1/16 saying that they are sorry about timescales but he will have a final decision by 29/02/16, heres hoping, but I know they are one of the worst banks for dragging things out. My husband didn't need to contact them they contacted us direct but I guess no harm in phoning them to ask if your claim would be getting re looked at.0
