The best hand cream that I have ever used is Hemp hand cream from the Body Shop. Ask or a sample and they will fill you a little pot for free! The best bargains are priceless!!!!!!!!!! :T :T :T0

Persevere with the supplements - they will be working on the new growth of your nail, and the bit of your nail that was growing at the time you started taking the supplements probably hasn't reached the end of your fingertip for you to appreciate any difference. An ex-colleague raved about cod liver oil capsules - she had joint problems and took them for that - her joint pain went away after about eight months, and her previously soft and weak nails became hard and easy to keep long.
Regards Body Shop hemp hand cream...it just goes to show how different we all are - I tried this too and found it absolutely terrible, it dried my hands out and made them rough, sore and chapped. The little free sample is a good idea just in case it doesn't suit you either. Maybe you could get a number of free samples from Body Shop, especially if you explain the particular problem you're trying to resolve.0 -
I have always had really weak nails and think I must have tried everything but over the past 3 months I have been massaging Golden Emu Oil into my hands to help my arthritis and my nails are fantastic. They have never been so strong and I actually have to cut them because they grow so fast. The oil is recommended as a moisturiser and I think they actually make a hand cream but the oil on its own is brilliant, it's not greasy, lasts for ages and is good for the joints.0

has any body got any recipies for bathroom products like bath oils and face masks etc. I have 2 daughters who are constantly in the bathroom and are costing me a fortune!0

Depends on the kind of skin for masks,
For oily/combination - tomatoes, yoghurt, egg white, yeast, cucumber, lime juice
For dry - honey, banana, oats, egg yolk, cream, glycerine
any of the above mixed with bentonite (if you make homebrew), kaolin or fullers earth, and mix to a paste.
Bath oils can be as simple as baby oil mixed with a little colouring and essential oil, or made with flowers steeped in during the summer.
