No Sound Watching C4 Online

Hi Guys
I'd appreciate it if someone could offer an explanation for the problem I'm having. I don't have a TV so I watch TV on my laptop (MacBook Pro) via tvguide.co.uk. During the last week I've noticed that when I click on C4 I don't get any sound. There is sound for the advert that comes on before the program starts but then it goes silent when the program is playing.
I'm not having any sound issues with the other channels or youtube so I don't know what to do. This problem only started recently. Prior to that it was fine and I haven't done anything different.

Yes, there's no problem there so I'm puzzled about this.
I tried again today to watch C4 via tvguide.co.uk. There was no sound for about 10 minutes and then sound came on for about 5 minutes then cut out again.0 -

been having flash issues across all browsers, wish they start rolling out html5 players all over. flash video is a PITA0
