Yorkshire Bank - 2 gripes (was What does this term mean?)

I just 're-created' answers and kept a secret note!
Some of the questions are daft, however after once being asked (on the phone) how much I spent 'yesterday' when fueling my car and failing (I paid however much the pump showed) then daft questions are now run of the mill.0 -
I dislike the film/food/drink questions, since these can change over time. First car, pet or school won't. Teacher could too, if still in education.
The worst are the ones where there are two options for the question in one, so you have to remember the questions as well as the answer. I had one where it was where was your mother or father born. I could give both, but couldn't remember which parent I'd actually put down.0 -

But to add an additional level of security, you really shouldn't be answering these questions honestly - it's not that difficult for a determined fraudster to find out where you were born or went to school, what your mothers maiden name was or your fathers nationality.
And once you realise you can just invent the answers, then it's quite easy to come up with just a few keyword answers that you can apply to most of the questions
e.g.
Favourite film ? The Wizard of Oz
First pets' name ? Toto
Mothers Maiden name ? Dorothy
Mothers / Fathers place of birth ? Kansas
Favourite colour ? Emerald
Favourite food ? Munchkin
Favourite Drink ? Munchkin
Favourite item of clothing ? ruby slippers
First school ? Munchkin
etc etc etc0 -

OK you got me.
But actually not, as my favourite changes over time. I still maintain that the only people asking about your "favourite" anything should be under about 14.
To the poster who said to make up answers - well that's an idea but then either you have to remember different answers for different websites (impossible), write them down (insecure) or have one key answer as you suggested which is then pretty open once someone's guessed the key answer.
Yes a determined hacker could find out someone's mother's maiden name - but how many documented times in reality has that actually happened and been used to hack into a bank account? And how would anyone find out my first car make/model? In fact, memorable car would be a better question than memorable place - mine was a Morris Marina when growing up. Spectacularly awful car that probably caused the entire failure of the British car industry.
After all this, I have now forgotten the answer I gave to Yorkshire Bank for favourite TV star. I think I said Rolf Harris.0
